Seth Thomas Tartler

Seth Tartler, age 39, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at his home in Aurora, Colorado. He was born March 26, 1983 in Denver, to Joe and Jayne Tartler. Seth was a 2001 graduate of Highlands Ranch High School. He married Kelly Churchley on May 16, 2015 and their son Ryker Tartler was born on January 13, 2017. Seth was an amazing and loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend. His passion for life and larger than life smile were contagious. He had a sense of humor unlike anyone and brought so much joy into everyone’s life. Seth graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in business and economics.  He played collegiate baseball, and was a sports enthusiast, with an unbelievable talent for drawing. Seth started his custom bat company, Triumph Bats, in 2020 and created some incredible custom, one-of-a-kind bats. He enjoyed golfing and watching sports, playing video games, and collecting baseball cards with Ryker. He loved coaching Ryker’s sports teams and drawing. Kelly will miss his relentless shenanigans and ability to talk everyone’s ear off. He will be missed endlessly, and the world will not be the same without his big, cheesy smile.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly; his son Ryker (5); his two dogs Bogey and Loki; his parents, Joe and Jayne; his two brothers Ty and Josh; his nieces Cheyenne and Addison; his nephews Blake and Cody; his new nephew arriving soon; his many cousins and aunts and uncles.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at St Andrew United Methodist Church, located at 9203 S. University Blvd., Highlands Ranch, CO 80126. A visitation will take place from 1:00 – 2:45 pm MST and the Memorial Service will be from 3:00 – 4:00 pm MST. At the conclusion, the family invites you to join them at a Reception to Celebrate Seth’s Life from 4:30 – 7 pm at The Lone Tree Golf Club, located at 9808 Sunningdale Blvd., Littleton, CO 80124.

A Private Burial will take place at a later date at Seven Stones Chatfield Cemetery, located at 9635 N Rampart Range Rd., Littleton, CO 80125.
