Patrick John Parker, age 55, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Denver. He was born on May 2, 1970, in Arlington, Texas, to Jerry and Nancy (Haines) Parker. Pat grew up in Broken Arrow, OK, and kept many friends from there. At 18, he attended the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles for a year after being accepted as a master guitarist.
He and his brother, Scott, who played bass guitar, joined KlockWorq,a band with Lee Johnson, singer and Darren King, drummer, in the 90s, opening for Pantera, Dream Theater, and REO Speedwagon. They made and sold albums and toured the South.
Between gigs, Pat worked in the construction trade. He loved animals and shared cats Geddy, Rik, and Sanford with his brother. He took trips with his mother, one memorable one to Oregon and Roslyn, Washington, as a devoted fan of Northern Exposure. He was a huge fan of the Minnesota Vikings and would dye his hair and beard purple, convinced that would help them win. Purple became his color.
Pat loved his family and friends and went out of his way to help other people who were struggling, whether they were learning guitar or had trouble with a wheelchair. He was warmhearted and fun to be around. We will miss him dearly.
Pat was preceded in death by his father, Jerry. He is survived by his mother Nancy; brother, Scott; sister-in-law, Deanna; niece, Olivia; nephew, Charlie; daughter, Alexandria; and extended family.
A memorial is being planned, with cremation at Heflebower Funeral and Cremation and future interment at Bear Creek Cemetery in Evergreen.
