Melissa Rae McNinch

Melissa McNinch, age 52, went home to be with the lord on Tuesday, November 22nd, 2022 at Rose Medical Center, Denver, CO. She was born March 5th, 1970, in Denver, CO, to Richard and Loraine Hinkle. Melissa was the second oldest to five children raised in Englewood, CO and attended Englewood High School. 

Melissa was a devoted grandmother, mother, sister and daughter. Family was first and foremost in every aspect of her life. She enjoyed family dinners and lunches surrounded by those she loved. Melissa always stood up for what was right and commonly cheered on the underdog. During a football game she was one of the very few Coloradans to be cheering for the Raiders. She had a deep passion for music and a special place for Stevie Nicks. Melissa enjoyed doing crafts such as latch hook and could commonly be found binge watching a true crime drama series. She will be missed dearly by all of those that she loved.  

She was precedented in death by her brother, Shawn. She is survived by her parents, Richard and Loraine, her sisters, Laura, Teresa and Debbie, her children, Charlotte, Zach, Zeb, and Courtney, and her grandchildren Cyrus, Kira, Benjamin, and Peter, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. We will be holding a Celebration of Life Service at the Chapel of Cherry Hills Community Church on Friday, December 16th at 10:30 AM.
