Martha Loebach

Martha Loebach, age 96, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024 in Centennial, Colorado, with loving family by her side. Martha was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1927 to Francis and Theresa Seitz. She graduated from Hirsch High School and went to work at CNA Insurance, where she met her future husband, Richard Loebach. They married in January, 1949 and were together until his death in 2012. Martha and Dick were blessed with 6 children, Robert, Thomas, James, Janet, Brian and Joanne.

Martha was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She and Dick also enjoyed travel and exploring new places, especially cruises. She was a talented seamstress and could sew anything, including clothing and other items for family and vestments for the local church. The arrival of grandchildren and great-grandchildren marked new chapters in her life. She delighted in spending time with them and they adored their “GG.” She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and her zest for life.

Martha was preceded in death by her parents; her sisters, Gertrude and Frances; her brother, Raymond, her husband, Richard; and her son, Robert. She is survived by her brothers, Robert and Richard Seitz; her children Tom (Diane Davies), James (Nancy McEntire), Janet Hahn, Brian (Linda), and Joanne (John) Durbin; grandchildren Leah (Zach) Tatlock, Mandy (Ben) Irwin, Justin (Audrey) Hahn, Brendan ( Ginny) Hahn, Erin Williams, Kelsey (Kyle) Smith, Alex and Ellie Anderson; great-grandchildren, Lucy Hahn, Elliot and Finley Tatlock, Melina Hahn, and Bentley and Declan Irwin. To remember the kind, compassionate person Martha was, it is requested, that in lieu of flowers, please practice random acts of kindness or brighten someone’s day whenever you can.
