Lott, Marilyn \\"Lynn\\" Jeanne Miles, 88, died December 17, 2014 in Denver, Colorado. Lynn was born in Oak Park, Illinois on March 20, 1926 to Elizabeth Claire and John James Miles. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, G. Robert \\"Bob\\" Lott and her son, Thomas Miles Lott. Lynn graduated from Oak Park High School, attended Frances Shimer College and graduated from Iowa Wesleyan College where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi sorority. Following their marriage, Lynn and Bob settled in Lincoln, Nebraska where she was an active member of PEO, Holy Trinity Episcopal Church and Hillcrest Country Club.After raising her two children, Lynn returned to her true passion, which was teaching. She taught fourth grade reading and math for 10 years at Clinton Public School. She cherished her students and placed tremendous value upon the opportunity that education provided to every child. She was an Honorary Member of Lincoln Area Retired School Personnel. Lynn and Bob resided in the lovely community of Carriage Park and lived \\"on the circle\\" where they enjoyed wonderful neighbors who in turn enjoyed her famous and fabulous Rice Krispie Treats and fruit cups. They were supporters of the University of Nebraska and Nebraska football - having been season ticket holders for nearly 48 years. Lynn is survived by her daughter Linda (Grant) Ashley of Westfield, NJ, daughter in law Beth and grandsons Miles, Max and Graham Lott of Gloucester, MA. Sister, Elizabeth \\"Betty\\" Hovorka of Ormond Beach, FL, sister in law Rosemary Werner of Lakewood, CO, Also surviving are beloved nieces and nephews. There will be no services at this time.
