Linda was born on April 30, 1949, in Mullen, Nebraska, to Bud (Clyde) Gorsuch and Goldie (Armstrong) Hansen. She grew up in the Sandhills and graduated from Mullen High School in 1967. She went on to attend Kearney State College, where she met her husband, Jeffrey Foreman. The two were married on June 1, 1968 in Mullen, Nebraska.

Linda dedicated her life to caring for others. She first earned her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) degree and worked as a nurse at the Good Samaritan Home in Albion, Nebraska. Driven by her deep compassion for the elderly, she later returned to the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in social work. Linda went on to work with the Alzheimer’s Association in Kearney and ultimately became the Executive Director of the West Central Nebraska Area Agency on Aging in North Platte, Nebraska.

Linda and Jeff retired in North Platte, where they enjoyed time together, family visits, and the simple joys of life.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jeffrey Foreman; her mother, Goldie Hansen; her father, Bud Gorsuch; her stepfather, Gordon Hansen; and her sisters, Shirley Roath and Sharon Gorsuch.

Linda is survived by her sister Margie Payne and her brother Larry (Tamara) Gorsuch; her daughters, Kristina (Aaron) Wright and Kimberly Danish; her grandchildren, Kale (Rachel) Wright, Emily Wright, and Annika Danish; and her two cherished great-grandchildren.

Linda loved her pets and found joy in spending time with her family. She enjoyed shopping, playing cards, tending to her flowers, and doing crafts. Her passion for her career and lifelong dedication to serving the elderly were defining parts of who she was. Linda will be remembered for her kindness, strength, humor, and her love for her family.

There will be a celebration of life with close friends and family held at a later date.
