Kenneth R. David

Kenneth Roy David (Allen-David) was born on July 24, 1969, to Reagan E David and Diane Claire David and passed away unexpectedly due to a sudden illness on February 9, 2023. Ken described himself as a dad, humanitarian, teacher, feminist, and friend. For those left behind, he was all these things and so much more. He was a kind, loving, and passionate man who put others above himself. Ken was a person who dreamed big and worked hard to realize those dreams.

Throughout his life, Ken enjoyed every opportunity to learn and grow. Graduating from Chatfield High School in 1988, Red Rocks Community College in 1993, the University of Northern Colorado with a bachelor's degree in communication in 1995, and the University of Phoenix with a master's degree in education in 2009.  Ken put his education and life experiences to use as the UNC Student Body President, a stockbroker, motivational speaker, author, entrepreneur, and teacher. Ken fulfilled all of these roles guided by his values and mission to “Live in the moment, observe, and analyze. Being adventurously involved and constantly proactive. Living a life that is an example of kindness, fairness, and inspiration.” 

Ken will be remembered for being a wonderful father, an inspiring friend, an outstanding artist, and a teacher who believed integrating fun into the school maximized student learning. Even though his time on earth was cut short, no doubt he is still inspiring us all and will continue to do so for years to come. 

Ken is survived by his sons,  Zachary and Jacob; his father, Reagan; his former spouse Naydja; his brother Danny; and many relatives and great friends he considered family. He was preceded in death by his mother, Diane.
