Kathy Helen Lucero, age 60, of Denver, CO., passed away peacefully on March 21, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on October 24, 1965 in Denver, CO. to John & Barbara Martinez. Kathy Lucero lived a life grounded in faith, kindness, and deep devotion to the people she loved most.
A woman of strong and enduring faith, she found comfort and strength in her relationship with God. Her faith guided the way she lived — with compassion, grace, and a generous spirit that touched everyone around her.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She was a loving and devoted mother to Jesse, Danielle & Tiffany, and an incredibly proud grandmother to Atlas, Ana, Bailey, Liam & Emery. Nothing made her happier than time spent with her children and grandchildren — whether it was sharing stories, celebrating milestones, or simply enjoying each other’s company. Her love created a foundation of warmth, laughter, and unwavering support that will live on in each of them.
She also found peace and happiness in the outdoors. She loved hiking, bike riding, going on walks around the lake & sitting in the sunshine. The outdoors was her place of reflection and happiness.
Kathy will be remembered for her gentle heart, her steady faith, her warm smile, and the way she made everyone feel welcomed and loved. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, strength, and devotion to family that will never be forgotten.
She is survived by children Jesse, Danielle, Tiffany, her mother Barbara, sister Carol, brother David and grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life & a Coming Home service will be held on April 7, 2026 at 10:30am at Landmark Tabernacle Church. In honor of her life, the family invites loved ones to gather and celebrate the beautiful impact she had on all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Landmark Tabernacle.
