Jeffrey Young

Jeffrey Young, age 59, of Littleton, Colorado, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2026. He was born on December 3, 1966, the son of Diane and John Young. Jeff was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He graduated from Fairview High School and then Colorado State University where he met his much beloved wife, Tami. Jeff then attended law school at the University of Denver College of Law, earning his Juris Doctorate.

Jeff was an avid Denver sports fan, devoted to the Broncos and Nuggets, but regardless of which sports season it was, Jeff loved talking about and debating Denver sports teams. The football love started early. Jeff received the Hit Man award for his defensive play with the Fairview Knights. He was particularly passionate about fantasy football, playing in the same league with many of the same friends for at least 30 years.

Jeff not only cared very much for the people that he loved, but also enjoyed the company of his dogs throughout his entire life. He enjoyed sitting outside and people watching with his dog, and anyone that would join him.

Jeff was also known for his love of the grill. Always one to throw a steak or burger on the grill, and he cooked a mean chicken wing. Jeff and his late wife Tami, bonded heavily over their love for food, and their love to take care of other people. This meant hosting holidays and serving the people that he loved with food that he worked hard on.

He is survived by daughter, Carley; son, Tyler; mother, Diane; brother, James; and other cherished family members, friends and colleagues. He was preceded in death by his wife, Tami; and his father, John.

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Ellis Family Services located at 13436 W Arbor Pl, Littleton, Colorado 80127 followed immediately by a reception at The 303 Sports Grill located at 8025 West Bowles Avenue, Littleton Coloradoo 80123
