Jan Thomas

Jan Thomas, age 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2023, at her residence in Lone Tree, CO. She was born December 14, 1947 in Cleveland, to Peter and Francis (Horvath) Vantusko. Jan was a 1965 graduate of Maple Heights High School, and went on to receive her bachelor’s and master’s degree as well. She married George Thomas on April 22, 1977 in Denver. Jan worked as a librarian for Marathon Oil and Lockheed Martin and made many friends around her local area.

Jan had a true passion for the outdoors, horses, poodles, and mystery novels. She took her husband and son (James) to as many places she could once they settled in San Francisco, California. From Death Valley to Redwood National Forrest, Jan would spend as much time on family adventures as possible. Jan is survived by her husband, son, sister (Vicki), and daughter-in-law (Allison).
