Erik Stanley

Erik Stanley, age 45, of Denver, CO, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026. He was born on October 10, 1980, in IL, the son of Diane J Stanley and Robert Stanley.

Erik grew up in Grayslake IL, attended Lakeview Public grade school & Grayslake Community High School, also University of IL, Urbana-Champaign with a 4 yr degree in Engineering, also a National Society of Professional Engineers certification.

Erik married (Kacie Peters-Deceased) on September 13, 2014 in New Jersey. They have one son, Nathan (Nate)

Erik enjoyed helping his dad create websites, being a DJ for weddings/ parties& playing in a band, teaching & playing golf with his son, & outdoor activities such as hiking with his family.

Survivors include his son, his mother, aunts & uncles in IL, AL, & FL, cousins in FL & Special Friends in IL & CO& his pet dog. He was preceded in death by his wife and his Father. 

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, January 13, 2026 in Seven Stones Cemetery.
