Connie E. Wynn

Connie Eileen Wynn was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on May 4th, 2026 at 79 years old where she received her “well done, good and faithful servant.” Most recently, she resided in Littleton, Colorado, but her life began in Morgantown, West Virginia in 1947.

Connie was the third of four daughters born to Kitty and Bruce. She and her sisters–Karen, Pat, and Elizabeth–spent their childhoods in West Virginia and Maryland in the various parishes that her father was assigned to as a minister with the United Methodists.

In college, Connie moved to California with her parents and sister, Elizabeth, where she attended Cal Poly Pomona University and received her teaching degree and met the love of her life, Gary M. Wynn. They married and spent 40 years working and playing together and teaching their children–Chris, Bryan (Hondo), and Denise–to love Jesus, be brave, and have adventures. Connie’s career went from teaching, to raising children, to running Gary’s law firm, and yet it was her and Gary’s contributions to running the high school youth group for years that likely bore the most fruit of her life. They poured into countless kids sharing their faith, home, time, and love.

After Gary passed away in 2006, Connie moved to Colorado to be close to her sons, daughter, and daughters-in-law and be an on-site Grandma to her growing brood of grandchildren–Caleb, Mason, Isaac, Sawyer, Elizabeth, Isabel, and Tasha.

Connie spent her whole life pouring out love, support, and encouragement to all those who knew her and actively praying for multitudes near and far who were blessed by her faithfulness.

Connie is survived by her three sisters, her children, and grandchildren. She will be missed by many extended family and treasured friends.
