Suzanne Huddleston Spicer

Suzanne Spicer, age 88, passed away peacefully April 16, 2021, while surrounded by her family. Sue was a wonderful mother and grandmother who was happiest when hosting a holiday dinner, creating in her craft room, or entertaining her grandchildren. She was known for her sweet tooth and loved spoiling her family with root beer floats, chocolate sundaes with extra whipped cream, and her famous snickerdoodles. Sue had a competitive nature, whether playing board games with her grandchildren or bridge with the neighbors she loved to win.

Sue married her beloved husband, Philip Spicer, on November 30, 1957, who preceded her in death in 2015. After 58 years of marriage, Sue discovered her independence as she continued to live her life with love and grace. Sue is survived by her three children Tom Spicer (Debbie), Terri Schechter (Mark), and Christy Hess (Mark), along with grandchildren James, Ben, Steven, Matt, Logan, Sarah, Greg.  Sue is also survived by her sister Sandra Petsche and eight great-grandchildren.

We celebrate her full life and the special memories that we have shared over the years.
