Seth Goldstein

June 5, 1944 - December 10, 2021

Seth Mason Goldstein, 77, a husband, Dad, Granddad and friend, died December 10, 2021 after a thirty year battle with Multiple Sclerosis. Born in Paterson, New Jersey, Seth arrived in Denver in 1968 after serving in the U S Navy for four years. He attended the University of Denver and the University of Colorado Denver graduating with a Masters In Urban and Regional Planning. He is survived by his wife Marjorie Howe Goldstein, his daughter, Jennifer Goldstein Frank (Dan Frank) Granddaughter, Eva Lynn and sister, Jackie Goldstein, (McPherson, Kansas). He worked for the Water Quality Control division of the State Health Department. Some of his passions were fishing, photography and Golden Retrievers. As an avid and trophy winning Bass Fisherman he helped to establish the Colorado Bass Federation and Bassin’ in the Rockies as viable and active fishing clubs. His nature photography won many awards and decorate our home with beautiful moments. As the disease progressed, he fought through the disappointments and frustrations and made peace with his status. He was a loving and special person who will be missed deeply. Our family thanks Seth’s incredible caregivers, Tim, Matthew and Fritz who cared for him for many years with such love and compassion. They will forever be part of our family. A private celebration of life will be held in the Spring/Summer of 2022. Memorial contributions may be sent to the Denver Art Museum, Hopi Educational Fund or Rocky Mountain Park Conservancy.
