Maria Louise Voiles, age 54, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Lutheran Hospice.
She was born October 11, 1967, to Francis and Shirley (Ranke) Junk. Maria attended Englewood High School and was active in the Youth Group at All Souls Catholic Church. After 35 years, she was reunited with her High School sweetheart, Ken, and they were married on February 2, 2020.
Maria was a generous and caring person who often opened her home to those in need. She loved children and spending time with her large family. Maria was a devoted wife and a loving mother. She will be dearly missed.
Maria was preceded in death by her son Jeffery and her parents, Francis and Shirley. She is survived by her husband, Ken; her children, Ryan, Andrew and Katherine Kirk; her 10 brothers and sisters, Pam (Mark) Zwickl, Pat (Ray) Congleton, Theresa Winters, Rita Johnson, Charles (Deborah) Junk, Daniel (Charlene) Junk, David (Carolyn) Junk, Joseph (Cecelia) Junk, Jane Duff and Virginia Junk ; 28 nieces and nephews as well as 36 great nieces and nephews.
In tribute to Maria’s generous and caring spirit, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her name.
There will be a visitation and Vigil Rosary for Maria on Friday, October 29th (visitation at 5:30 pm, Rosary at 7:00 pm). Her Funeral Mass will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 30th with a visitation starting at 11:00 am. Both the Rosary and the Funeral Mass will be held at All Souls Catholic Church, 4950 South Logan Street, Englewood, CO 80113.
