Joseph Richard Anderson of Highlands Ranch, Colorado died on Wednesday, October 13th with his family by his side.
Joe was born on February 1st, 1947 in Tucson, Arizona to Andrew and Veda Anderson. He graduated from Catalina High School and from there served in the Army in Vietnam.
He loved the water and headed for the lake whenever he could with his speedboat, friends, and family.
He is survived by his daughter Tricia Anderson Petteys (Mark), his grandchildren Jason and Danielle, his confidant and caregiver Cari Goldfarb, brothers William Anderson (Carol), Andrew Anderson (Grace), and sister Margie Humphries (Richard – deceased), along with so many nieces, nephews and cousins.
A small family graveside service is scheduled for Friday, October 22nd at 11am at Binghampton LDS Cemetery at 4001 N Alvernon Way Tucson, AZ 85718. Service flowers can be sent to the cemetery directly for a Friday morning delivery. Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to your local Veteran’s Charity.
