Jonathan J. Wilmot

Jonathan James Wilmot was born on August 6, 1967 in Libertyville, Illinois to Jim and Lee Wilmot. Jon passed away after a five and a half year battle with lung cancer on June 29, 2016 in Denver, Colorado.
Jon graduated from Warren High School in 1986 and went on to study finance at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He moved to Denver, Colorado and fell in love with the blue sky and active lifestyle! Most of the time, Jon could be found riding his bike, hiking, boarding, or working outside.
Jon has been such a blessing in all of our lives and his faith and positive attitude impacted so many. His smile and laugh were infectious and he never let things get him down! He was easy to talk to and he gave wise and sound advice - something we will all miss greatly. He was an amazing man with a truly courageous spirit.
Jon is survived by his wife, Leann, his daughter, Marlee, his parents, Jim and Lee, his siblings, Jennifer, Jeremy, and Josie, and his many nieces and nephews. Jon will be missed by many family and friends.
A Celebration of Life is planned for 4:00 PM Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Arrowhead Golf Club.
