Susan Lanette Earl Porter

Susan Lanette Earl Porter, age 68, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Sky Ridge Medical Center located in Lone Tree, CO. Susan is preceded in death by her daughter Debbie Hagner, husband, Mike of Highlands Ranch, CO; Chris Porter, son; Mildred (Millie) Earl, mother; Cindy Alford, sister; Shelly Riemer, sister; Vicky Weil, sister and many other relatives. She will also be missed by her beloved chocolate lab, Abby.
On May 29, 1949, Susan was born to Jack and Mildred Earl in Denver, CO. Susan spent most of her life in the Greater Houston Area where she graduated from Memorial High School in 1967, and married John (Jack) B. Porter. During their marriage, Susan gave birth to a beautiful daughter and son. The family moved to various parts of Texas and Louisiana eventually settling in the Woodlands area. Susan enjoyed attending her son’s sports activities particularly baseball and she was very passionate in her local community, specifically Something Special, a resell shop for the women’s’ shelter.
During Susan’s quest for knowledge and personal enrichment, she attended the University of North Texas, University of Houston, and Sam Houston State University.
