Jennifer E. Thompson

Jennifer (Jen) Eileen Thompson, age 16, was born to David W. and Eileen V. (Hagan) Thompson on Jan. 30, 2002 in Englewood, CO. She passed away in Highlands Ranch, CO on February 15, 2017.

Jennifer lived in Highlands Ranch, CO, where she attended Eldorado Elementary, Ranch View Middle School, and was a current student at Thunder Ridge High School (Class of 2020). Jen would try anything. She was a member of the TRHS Cheer team, a Black Belt in Taekwondo, and played volleyball and basketball at RVMS. She enjoyed gymnastics, tumbling and the aerial arts - particularly the Lyra hoop. Jen was an accomplished artist who won awards for her drawings. She was up for any creative challenge. Her interests included spending time with friends and family, her animals, performing arts, comics and super heroes, movies, traveling, concerts, fairs and festivals, and new experiences.

Jennifer enjoyed fine dining at Chick-Fil-A, beverages at Starbucks, ice cream parlors, picking & eating strawberries, and pickles by the jar full. Special occasions required Grandma's flour less chocolate cake.

Survivors include her parents and sister, Kathryn (Kathy) H. Thompson.

Funeral Services for Jennifer will be held on Thursday, February 22, at 4:00 p.m. at Mission Hills Church, 620 Southpark Dr., Littleton, CO, 80120.
