David A. Ruybal

David A Ruybal passed away at home on March 24, 2017 in Littleton Colorado.
Born November 10, 1934 to Juan and Sofia Ruybal, Mesitas CO. David graduated from
West High School in 1953 and served four years in the US Navy where he traveled all over the world. David retired at age fifty-five from Martin Marietta and later worked part time for COSTCO. David married his sweetheart Dolores A Kelley on February 3, 1962. David and Dolores raised daughter Yvonne D. (Tony) Trujillo and son David (Danell) Ruybal in Littleton CO. David had been widowed from Dolores since 2001. He is survived by his Sister Mary Jaramillo, grand children (Anthony), (Lyndsey), (Jessica), and (Brian) and five great grand children. David enjoyed spending time with his friends and family where he often prepared special meals to celebrate Holidays and Birthdays at his home. David also enjoyed fishing and spending summers at the T Lazy W Park in Grand Lake CO.
A Rosary will be held on Thursday, March 30, 2017 at 7 pm at Heflebower Funeral Services, 8955 S. Ridgeline Blvd, Suite 100 Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. Visitation will start at 6:00 PM Thursday evening. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, March 31, 2017 at 11 am at Light of the World Roman Catholic Church, 10316 West Bowles Avenue, Littleton CO. 80127. Memorials are suggested in care of the family for a future designation.
Interment will take place at a later date at Ft. Logan National Cemetery with Honors by the United States Navy.
